Being a Job Developer evaluates individual's background, skills, and interest and matches to potential job openings or training programs. Coaches and prepares candidate for interview and entry into the workforce. Additionally, Job Developer may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Job Developer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Our non-profit firm is seeking one full-time Job Developer to help those we serve achieve their dreams. The home office is located in Wausau, WI.
The Job Developer provides job placement opportunities through their relationships with employers, businesses and community agencies. Our Job Developers act as a liaison between the employment community, job seekers and our Service Center.
PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE- Analyze needs, skills and experience to develop volunteer and employment opportunities
- Attend business related meetings including Chamber of Commerce events, grand openings, trade shows, etc.
- Assist job seekers with workshops, programs, job fairs, and tours
- Support participants with resume and interview prep
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEAssociates degree and two plus years job development/placement, staffing or related experience; and/or equivalent combination or education and experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS- FSC offers a very competitive wage for this full-time, non-exempt position with a minimum starting rate of $21.71/hour with additional compensation based on direct experience beyond the minimum requirements.
- Example: Meet only minimum requirements start at $22.19/hour; with 3 additional years of direct experience start at $22.53/hour; 5 additional years of direct experience $23.21/hour, etc.
