Job Control Language Setup Specialist jobs in Kansas

• Daily mail runs, check scanning and remote deposit processing.
• Process and apply electronic customer payments (ACH/credit cards).
• Perform customer account research with the ability to analyze and resolve complex payment related issues.
• Process correcting adjustments, including misapplied payments, overpayments, customer reconciliations, customer credits, etc.
• Actively engage with customers to resolve unapplied payments and unapplied credits.
• Field questions from customers and internal resources regarding statements and invoices.
• Successfully contact and collect on customer accounts and past due invoices.
• Manage the tracking of custom billing and upload to customer portals when necessary.
• Generate invoices and account statements.
• Prepare AR reports and analysis as needed.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a positive overall customer experience.
• Assist financial reporting team with relevant monthly account reconciliations.
• Provide support for internal and external audits as necessary.
• Assist with other accounting-based duties and functions as needed.

• Proven work experience as a Lead Accounts Receivable Specialist or Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, including complex cash application experience.
• Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced, changing, and ambiguous work environment.
• Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Detail oriented and organized with exceptional time management skills.
• Effective, professional communication skills.
