Jig and Fixture Builder assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Responsibilities:
- Self-motivated/ detail orientated.
- Basic machine shop experience is a plus
- Assist tool leaders with the following:Gathering & squaring up stock for CNC using bridge ports and saws.
Prepping details to be assembled.
Assemble purchased components.
Assist in maintaining a clean working environment.· Operate basic hand tools (Such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drill, pliers)
· Computer skills
· Able to take directions from others.
· Promote teamwork.
· Basic Math Skills
· Strong communication skills
· Must have attention to detail.
The standard work hour schedule is five ten-hour days (M-F) with Friday determined by workload. Overtime is common. (6:00am-4:30pm).

Wages are based on skills and experience.
