Jig and Fixture Builder jobs in Thousand Oaks, CA

Genuine Sheds and Studios is based in Ojai and builds a variety of backyard sheds in Ventura, Santa Barbara and N. LA counties. We are looking to hire hardworking, dependable, motivated individuals seeking to learn more about carpentry and building. Tasks include framing, roofing, siding, window/door install, interior finishing, floor install, cement pouring, painting and all other construction aspects of building a shed. Must be a fast learner willing to take on responsibility, have a professional demeanor and team-player attitude. Some construction experience is a plus, but not necessary. Must have a reliable vehicle and speak English. A typical project is 5 days Fri-Tues with a possible Sunday off. Projects vary in scope from 2-7 days. Must be willing to commit to dates at least 2 weeks in advance. $25/hour starting pay, part-time 20-32 hours/week on average. Fast wage-increase and bonuses based on performance and reliability.
