Jig and Fixture Builder assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Inland Fixture is looking for a cabinet/plastic laminate repair and installation tech. We are general contractors specializing in facilities maintenance.
Responsibilities-
Replace damaged laminate on cabinets and countertops
Install laminate cabinets and countertops
Install and repair fixtures
Replace drawer slides, handles, hinges, etc
Any knowledge in other trades is a plus. Flooring, Painting, drywall, framing, suspended ceiling, electrical, plumbing, concrete, and more.
All work is performed in retail stores before, during, or after store hours.
Tech may also be in our shop manufacturing counters and cabinets
