Jig and Fixture Builder assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Base Pay
This role has a minimum base pay from $16.00 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience.
PURPOSE
This position is responsible for designing, building and maintaining store product displays. Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
One year of construction or building experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate noisy.
PHYSICAL / SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Physical Work - Ability exert 30 - 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
