Recover Green Roofs seeks qualified applicants for full-time, year-round Builder positions. This is a dynamic role. Builders are expected to complete tasks efficiently while following best safety practices and meeting our quality standards. As Recover is a growing company, this position has the potential to grow and develop based on our ever-changing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the hands-on installation, maintenance, and/or remediation of green roof projects, including conveyance of and work on green roof systems, planters, irrigation, pavers, curbing, cast-in-place concrete, custom metal fabrications, custom woodworking/decking, masonry, and other scopes as required, based on project needs and demonstrated skill level.
• Provide general assistance to Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and fellow crew members, both on and off-site.
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites, in the office/shop, and in Recover Green Roofs vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Experienced and comfortable working with hands and power tools. 
• Ability to travel to job sites in CT, RI, NH, NY, and NJ, is highly preferred.
• Must be reliable with a strong ability to both take direction and work independently. 
• Must have excellent powers of communication and critical thinking skills.
• Must have an innate attention to detail and the ability to self-pace.
• Must have good references that can attest to your work ethic.
• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle highly preferred.
• Must be comfortable working on roofs under adverse weather conditions
• Routine and/or frequent lifting of loads up to or greater than 75-90 lbs
• Potential for non-routine overnight travel based on business needs.

Salary and Benefits:

• Full Time
• Salary at $23.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
