We are currently have a full time opening and are looking to hire an experienced Machine Builder / Technician. This individual will be part of the Assembly Department and the work will be mainly involve assembly of new machines and also perform mechanical repairs on and refurbish used equipment.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to :

• Assemble machine to specifications
• Set-up machines and make operational adjustments
• Wire machine for electric and pneumatic operation
• Breaking down and disassemble machines

o Be able to identify worn components

o Locate replacement parts

Reassembly

To be considered, you’ll need the following key qualifications :

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of mechanical and pneumatic assemblies
• Ability to work with close tolerance assemblies
• Ability to multitask to have several assemblies in process at a time
• Resourcefulness, and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

The following experiences and qualifications are a plus :

• Machine, Power Tool or heavy equipment manufacturing or repair
• Automotive or appliance manufacturing or repair
• Experience with clutch mechanisms
• Metal cutting experience
