RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a skilled Java Developer in Lenexa, KS.

Responsibilities:
* Java Developer will analyze and design solutions following architectural guidelines and standards, verifying technical requirements
* Code and test solutions with clean, self-documenting code and comprehensive unit test coverage
* Diagnose and remediate defects, bugs, and performance issues in QA and production environments
* Document code and share knowledge with the development team
* Implement and support system operations, adhering to change management processes
* Ensure quality through best practices in design, coding, and testing, following company architectural standards
* As a Java Developer, you will create data extracts and reports, develop, and execute unit test plans, and assist in deployment to production
* Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshoot existing systems, and identify opportunities for improvement
* Assist in project planning processes and provide technical coaching to team members
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety and health regulations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* 3 years of Java development experience
* 3 years of experience with Spring Boot
* 3 years of experience in database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL)
* Experience in scripting (Python, Korn Shell, JavaScript)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
