Janitorial Supervisor supervises the cleaning and maintenance of buildings/facilities. Trains and supervises the custodial staff to maintain an orderly, safe, and efficient cleaning operation. Being a Janitorial Supervisor orders, stocks and replenishes supplies, and provides the tools and equipment needed to perform required maintenance. May require a high school diploma. Additionally, Janitorial Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. ```Duties, but not limited to:```
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways and lobbies
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor
- Operate floor scrubber (we will provide training)

- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
