The Service Department Janitor is responsible for the cleanliness, appearance, and general upkeep of the Service department. He or she mops the Service department and empties the trash cans daily, cleans the restrooms and service waiting area, waters the plants, and takes care of minor building upkeep. The Janitor may be required to mop/clean the Parts department as well.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and prior cleaning/janitorial experience and familiarity with basic cleaning supplies and equipment is preferred. He or she must be a team player, must be able to adapt to different tasks/duties as required, and must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. A clean driving record is a plus.
