Description

As a Janitor, you will report to the Janitor Manager and/or Supervisor to determine weekly tasks and goals. This job consists of routine work to maintain the cleanliness of SkyPark. Work is evaluated through observation while work is in progress and by inspection of completed assignments.

This position requires availability on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• High guest interaction while working independently.
• Picking up debris, emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms, cleaning windows, sweeping and general area cleaning.
• Working indoors and outdoors.
• Vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning buildings.
• Working with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Extensive cleaning – including restrooms and toilets.
• Physical demands include constant walking, standing, pulling/pushing, repetitive sweeping motion, lifting trash can liners that may weigh 30-50 lbs.
• Report the Lead Janitor if the Manager is unavailable.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must be well versed in using cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers and cleaning compounds.
• In depth know how of standard cleaning procedures.
• Agile to perform physical tasks constantly.
• Proven ability to work long hours on one’s feet.
• Capability of climbing ladders and working at the particular heights.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules.
