Janitorial Position at Buckhannon, WV Warehouse

Salary: $14.00 - 16.00 per hour

Location: Buckhannon, WV (On-site)

Essential Functions:

• Collect and remove trash from designated areas.
• Thoroughly wipe and dust surfaces, including shelving, floors, bathrooms, sinks, and more.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, fixtures, and toilets.
• Ensure mirrors, windows, and glass are clean and streak-free.
• Utilize blowers and vacuums to effectively clean various areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the break room.
• Perform basic maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs and painting.
• Basic maintenance experience is a PLUS! (Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, handyman skills)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a janitorial position preferred.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure spaces are cleaned thoroughly.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Capable of working independently without constant supervision.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within set time frames.
• Basic maintenance experience is a PLUS! (Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, handyman skills)

Requirements:

• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 pounds), twist, and bend frequently, including navigating stairs.
• Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds for distances of up to 90 feet or disposing of them in dumpsters/trash compactors.
• Knowledge of safe handling of various cleaning supplies.
• Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment and safe operation.
• Basic maintenance experience is a PLUS! (Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, handyman skills)
