Janitor

Objective:
The Janitor/Custodian will clean and maintain the facility and surrounding company owned property.
General knowledge requirements:
- Beverage center morning setup. Refilling as necessary throughout the day.
- Setup/refill condiments.
- Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas and hallways of the building, which, depending on the area involved, includes any of the following: dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sanitizing, dusting, polishing, checking paper towel/soap dispensers, refilling paper towel/soap dispensers, trash removal, trash liner changes, recycling processes.
- Cleans restrooms, hand cleaning stations and breakroom.
- Cleans windows.
- Cleans refrigerators, microwaves, and popcorn machines.
- Wipes down vending machines.
- Dust, polishes, vacuums main entry, offices, cubicle areas and conference room.
- Shred paper considered confidential.
- Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ room; ensures cleaning supplies are stocked.
- Assists in examining facility for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to lead janitor/custodian, safety team and/or EH&S Coordinator.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to keep the facility and property clean and orderly.
- Ability to interact with co-workers and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
- Ability to operate an Auto Scrubber (Floor Zamboni) machine.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass Drug Screen.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
