Position Summary:

Seeking a hands-on, self-motivated Facilities Assistant to keep our corporate office tidy and ready. This position involves various tasks related to maintenance, safety and general upkeep of the premises. The Facilities Assistant will work closely with the Facilities and Maintenance Team to provide a safe, clean, and functional environment for team members and visitors.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, offices, restrooms and break rooms

• Perform routine inspections of premises and janitorial duties at such as vacuuming and shampooing of carpet, window cleaning, emptying trash cans etc.

• Setting up work stations, assembling and disassembling office furniture and assisting in basic repairs

• Assist in setting up and arranging furniture and equipment for meetings, events and workspace changes

• Provide friendly and responsible assistance to team members and visitors regarding facility-related matters

• Address requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Report any damage to furniture, fixtures or equipment

• Manage inventory of janitorial supplies

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years janitorial experience

• 2 Handyman experience

• Strong bias towards action and detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:

• Overtime as required

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
