Monarch Investment is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our River Chase Apartments team in Florissant, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Property Manager with posting, collecting, tracking and managing delinquency of rental and other income
• Consistently attempts to collect “Bad Debt” prior to write offs
• Assists with evictions related to no rent payments
• Ensures adherence to all Monarch policies and procedures by the property team
• Ensures desired tenant renewals are being captured at the highest rate possible
• Generates renewal and other reporting to Property Manager
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years’ experience in Collections, Bookkeeping or equivalent
• Deposit accounting experience
• Multi-family housing preferred
• Must have excellent computer skills and be able to navigate industry software
• General knowledge of local, state and federal resident/property management laws/guidelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills
