Primary Job Function:
The Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) acts as the investment strategy expert and product champion for Thornburg’s strategies. The CPM is the primary external voice and champion for the relevant strategies and serves as a proxy for the Portfolio Managers in matters related to client service and marketing. The CPM will be well integrated with the investment team, remaining current and informed of holdings and portfolio-level details.
The Client Portfolio Manager is expected to play a lead role in new business development across all sales channels. The CPM works closely with sales, consultant relations, client service and other internal staff to communicate relevant information regarding the equity investment strategies, including reviewing investment performance, portfolio composition and characteristics, rationale for holdings, investment decisions.
