Investment Manager manages overall bank's investment portfolio. Reviews investment strategy, seeks out new opportunities, and recommends changes in investments to manage risk and generate acceptable rate of return. Being an Investment Manager measures and evaluates return on investment and trends that may impact the portfolio. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Investment Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Investment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Investment Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Qualifications: Understanding of and experience in investment markets and trades, with the ability to process personal securities transactions. Customer service experience, including excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients. Familiarity with Microsoft applications, data entry and information retrieval software. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Willing to obtain FINRA Series 6, 63 and life, accident, and health insurance licensing. Preferred, one year in securities industry with experience required. Background check is required.
Job Description: Act on behalf of the employing financial advisor to develop and prepare needs-based analysis or financial plans, recommend fund portfolio options, monitor funding of advisory accounts and communicate with clients on advisory-related services and products. Monitor industry trends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
