ATTENDANCE/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This position is exempt from overtime and may entail working hours as needed to perform the position requirements satisfactorily. The position is scheduled for a typical 40-hour work week; however, portfolio demands will be great, and the associate should expect to work significantly more hours. This position also requires regular attendance and active participation/planning at all regional company functions and events. Travel will be 50% and up to 75% varying on portfolio and current portfolio conditions/needs.
TRANSPORTATION: Must have a reliable vehicle to fulfill all the jobs functions. Must have proof of liability insurance for same. Valid Drivers License required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Extensive mobility and good physical condition is necessary for this position. Must be able to perform the physical functions, which may include, but are not limited to the ability to walk the property, including 4 flights of stairs and complete physical inspections. Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
COMMUNICATION: Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, etc.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A college degree is preferred but not required. A minimum of three years experience as a Regional Manager or multi-site experience. Range of experience should include but is not limited to underwriting review, lease-ups, acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence, and multi-use sites. Experience including participation on or leadership of internal and/or external task forces or boards is helpful.
SKILLS: The position requires the ability to deal well with people and exhibit strong leadership skills. Evidence of leadership qualities must be exhibited with the region, the company and/or the industry.

REASONING ABILITY: Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Yardi Voyager knowledge preferred.
