Investment Analyst jobs in New York

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst Intern with strong mathematical, data science, and programming capabilities to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the investment analysis of prospective and existing portfolio companies.

This is a full-time, paid internship located in NYC. Applicants should be available to start Summer of 2024 and must demonstrate strong mathematical and programming skills to be considered. Applicants can also be considered for a separate part-time internship starting now.

Learning Opportunities:

• Conduct fundamental analysis on companies and industries, building full 3-statement models for investment targets
• Perform statistical analysis of large alternative datasets to support investment conclusions
• Provide investment recommendations by drafting memos and comprehensive reports, combining both qualitative and quantitative insights
• Build predictive models on top of market/alternative data and backtest results as systematic strategies

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a BS/MS degree with relevant coursework and experience
• Previously demonstrated proficiency with Python and Java/C
• Proficiency in Excel and modeling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary

Per hour compensation for interns at Tudor has typically ranged from $30 to $50 per hour, with the actual salary dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s education level and credentials, the salary expectations of applicable applicants, and other market conditions.
