PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
This role will serve as the expert in improving Physical Inventory accuracy as well as our business wide ERP systems. Work with cross-functional teams within Revision. Operations to manage inventory and ensure company goals are met on time and at lowest cost possible. Engage in implementation of process improvement strategies, cross-functional continuous improvement teams and/or selected development/business area projects as assigned by the Master Scheduler. Creates solutions and action plans to help ensure that problems are resolved and inventory issues remain accurate. Coordinates and prepares Operations documentation for inventory reviews in support of Operations requirements.
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Communicate inventory levels, trends and savings opportunities that support corporate objectives.
· Perform Cycle Counts per the schedule and adjust inventory levels as necessary while tracking errors and other pertinent data to be used for continuous improvement activities.
· Assist the Supply Chain team in the development and sustainability of Kanbans.
· Act as back-up to Master Scheduler to maintain the Kanban process.
· Review operations paperwork, such as work orders, for accuracy and reconcile variances.
· File paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
· Act as back-up, when needed, to the other functions in the Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving.
· Work closely where applicable with all departments in a manner that supports the business and encourages and builds a positive relationship.
· Ensure timely and effective communication where applicable at all levels of the organization.
· Work with Production and QC for processing of returns when directed.
· Perform physical inventory duties as required.
· Assist Supply Chain when directed for Kanban, system integrity, and filing of paperwork.
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
· Available for overtime when required.
· College, Certification or Associate Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 1 to 3 years experience in inventory.
· Experience in inventory control, data entry.
· Experience in manufacturing environment, preferably.
· Good attention to detail is required.
· Ability to prioritize duties in a shifting environment.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to perform general office clerical work quickly and efficiently.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Solid experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet.
· Experience with ERP systems to ensure the timely delivery of all needed materials.
· Experience in ISO 9001 environments
· U.S. Government authorization required.
