Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Your Role:

    As the Inventory Supervisor, you'll be instrumental in overseeing our inventory logistics and purchasing processes. Your role is crucial in maintaining adequate stock levels, complying with regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. Here's what you'll do:


    • Lead Inventory Operations: Oversee day-to-day inventory operations, including tracking levels, ordering, and reconciliation, to ensure seamless inventory management.
    • Team Support: Manage and train inventory staff, ensuring a positive work environment where team members feel supported and motivated to excel.
    • Strategic Planning: Assess and support inventory strategies, providing strategic input to optimize our inventory processes.
    • Maintain Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis regulations, implementing necessary procedures to safeguard inventory and maintain comprehensive records.
    • Supplier Management: Source suppliers and manage relationships to ensure timely delivery and maintain high-quality product standards.
    • Customer Service Focus: Maintain high customer service standards regarding inventory, collaborating with the sales team to optimize revenue and enhance brand awareness.
    • Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records related to inventory, overseeing inventory budgets and fulfillment to ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Continuous Improvement: Remain current with industry best practices, analyzing and improving business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Collaboration: Interface with Licensing and Compliance Representative, collaborating with marketing to enhance brand awareness, and support the implementation and maintenance of inventory systems.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Provide audit reports to leadership regularly, develop and report Key Performance Indicators, and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cannabis industry, with a focus on inventory management.
    • Demonstrated experience managing inventory within a retail store or dispensary setting.
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of state and local regulations pertaining to cannabis inventory management.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and suppliers.
    • Strong leadership and management abilities to effectively lead and develop inventory teams.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and industry trends.
    • Sound knowledge of cannabis products and their effects to facilitate informed inventory management decisions.
