Inventory Control Supervisor supervises inventory control operations and teams according to established policies. Follows standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Inventory Control Supervisor assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Utilizes Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels and optimizing inventory control processes.Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory

- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to inventory management
- Utilize data analysis skills to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
- Conduct regular physical inventories and reconcile variances
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions in the system
- Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed for inventory movementSkills:
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
- Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
