Inventory Control Supervisor supervises inventory control operations and teams according to established policies. Follows standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Inventory Control Supervisor assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Utilizes Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Shift Details: Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Manage suppliers replenishing vending machines.
Manage inventory shipping out, that includes but not limited to repairs.
Manage E-Waste area and schedule pick ups.
Assist with the review of the storeroom re-order report and submit the requisitions to procurement to ensure the quantity, price, and delivery are in accordance with the strategies developed and the needs if the organization.
Assist (as needed) on miscellaneous projects and support others in the department (i.e serve as backup for the Procurement Manager)
Support the suppliers utilizing VMI program.
Train new hires on storeroom processes
Realize cost savings target in adherence with Mill’s Goals
Coordinate with all department managers to ensure accountabilities for all materials, specifically around work order follow up and item management.
Management inventory cycle counts a storeroom addition, revisions, and deletions
Manage outage needs.
Manage storeroom issues processes.
Receive label, and stock shelves with parts.

Strong analytical and planning capabilities are a must, is the ability to appropriately summarize key issues and provide guidance to individuals.
Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word PowerPoint) and JDE (or other CMMS)
Ability to lift 49lbs.
Forklift certification required
Excellent oral and written communications with the ability or prepare and present
Attention to detail & Ability to multi-task and priorities
Self- directed with minimal supervision
Must be able to manage a project timeline & have capability to own and drive execution for projects in which other people contribute.
