Inventory Control Supervisor jobs in Brentwood, NY

Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting data analysis, and ensuring accurate inventory records. This is a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations and meeting customer demands.

Duties:
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing department to maintain optimal stock levels
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system to forecast demand and plan inventory replenishment
- Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment and minimize stockouts
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify reasons for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Utilize data visualization tools to present inventory data in a clear and concise manner
- Perform data mining to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory management strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in inventory control or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MRP systems
- Knowledge of demand planning principles and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel or Tableau
- Familiarity with Nielsen data or similar market research data is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per hour
