Inventory Control Manager
This is a permanent, full-time, direct hire position, with opportunity for advancement.
We are a managed IT services provider in southern NH, looking for a new team member who can manage quoting, procurement, and inventory control. The ideal candidate has the ability to manage details with precision and ease, has strong organizational and time management skills, and can meet deadlines.
Looking for local candidates only (NH, MA). Our office is located in Bedford, NH, and while some of the documentation work can be done remotely, managing the flow of inventory and keeping the storage space at our office updated and organized is a daily (in person) endeavor.
Job Summary: The Inventory Control Manager is in charge of quoting, procurement, and inventory management (equipment, hardware and software) for our customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Procurement:
· Daily: Researches and provides our technicians with quotes for customer equipment (hardware and software)
· Daily: Tracking the status of quotes, and works closely with Billing when equipment needs to be invoiced
· Daily: Purchases are handled by billing, but you will be required to track orders, communicate regularly with Lead techs and customers, and log all inventory when it arrives.
· Daily: Pick up company mail and packages and deliver items to our inventory space for classification and storage
· Daily: Update customer tickets and Lead Techs and Project Leads with detailed documentation
· Collaborates with lead technicians to arrange for items to be picked up and dropped off
· Communicates with suppliers to resolve problems related to delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale.
· Submits, manages and tracks all RMA’s
Inventory Control:
· Weekly: Inventory Control Team Meetings and Project Meetings (remote)
· Weekly: Team Meeting (in person)
· Maintains and updates inventory database in our PSA
· Executes daily inventory analysis: identify and resolve discrepancies and problems.
· Manages stock room and organization of its contents: oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers. Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers
· Keeps track of communication involving all orders and requests of equipment
· Maintains an orderly – and clearly labeled – inventory space (stock room)
· Implements policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.
· Maintain a knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability.
· Training new technical staff on how to utilize the Inventory Control Database in our PSA
· Quarterly Inventory Audits
Required Skills/Abilities:
· A background check will be required for this position

Experience:
· One year of inventory/procurement experience
Physical Requirements:
· Must have daily access to a reliable, secure vehicle with proof of insurance
· Must have a portable workstation (laptop)
· Ability to lift and transport (with the use of a dolly) network equipment
· Transporting equipment to/from local vendor, staff and customer locations weekly
