Job Summary

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for tracking and reporting production yields and material scrap across the facility with the goal of ensuring losses are within agreed upon limits of our contract customers. This position will also provide matrix oversight to the team of inventory supervisors, coordinators, and counters to regularly audit, and conduct cycle counts of finished goods, packaging materials, and raw materials. This position will report to the facility Controller and work closely with the various operating departments and plant manager to identify and investigate abnormal losses when they occur.  The Inventory Control Analyst will ensure proper processing and invoicing of daily production, quality holds and incidents, product and material destruction, and other services by working closely with the Quality department and centralized billing team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and work with team to implement and monitor processes and procedures to ensure TTB Compliance.
• Identify business process breakdowns and negotiate process owners/business handoffs.
• Coach new inventory team members and cross-functional teams in new inventory processes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards to drive business process improvements. Create and provide reports to management and cross-functional teams.
• Provide weekly inventory financial data, analysis and reporting on production yields, scrap, product destruction, and track related costs for accurate billing to customers.
• Analyze, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis.
• Lead the execution of the inventory record accuracy through weekly / monthly cycle counting. Ensure routine auditing receipts of POs, production put aways, and Quality hold management. Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner. 
• Required to be an active participant during internal/external inventory audits. Facilitate annual customer physical inventory requirements.
• Work closely with the Quality team to monitor and track quality holds throughout the process to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments include certificates of destruction. Provide documentation to contract customers as needed.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement process by analyzing inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Assist with and collaborate with other departments to improve, develop, and implement inventory control policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, ability to review, reconcile, and report financial data related to inventory value.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• High analytical ability and advanced Excel reporting skills (vlookup, pivot tables, & macros) 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
