Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels and optimizing inventory control processes.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize errors and maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to inventory management
- Utilize data analysis skills to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
- Conduct regular physical inventories and reconcile variances
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions in the system
- Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed for inventory movement

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
- Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers
