Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web develops, implements, and maintains web-based application systems for an organization. Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them. Being an Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web may require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., HTML, Java, etc.). Additionally, Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Overview
Responsible for the analysis selection/design, implementation, and maintenance of computer software. Takes a lead role in the support of application utilization, and has daily interactions with all user areas to solicit and satisfy requirements. Initiates and leads process and IT re-design, and system implementation.
Responsibilities
•Analyzes user requests and formulate solutions that coincide with existing software and hardware resources. •Provides necessary documentation of maintenance and development effort to support operational aspects of production software. Assure efficiency of production software is consistent with departmental standards. •Coordinates installation and maintenance activities associated with packaged software. Provides evaluation of software upgrades, installation support, and coordinated interface into existing systems. •Provides on call support to software areas critical to the operation of the hospital. •Assists in the preparation of schedules and implementation plans and participates in the day to day supervision of subordinate personnel assigned to project. •Responsible for providing own connectivity and hardware to perform remote support. •Responsible for adhering to HH and departmental policies and procedures. •Project leadership in IT and organizational projects. •Tasks led, mentored, and completed in timeframes designated and with expected quantity and quality.Qualifications
Require Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Computer Science. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Require five to eight years progressive experience in various applications. Demonstrated expertise in project leadership, personnel interactions, project management, customer environment and customer support required.
