    Job Description

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Digital Experience to lead our digital marketing efforts, drive the growth of our online presence, and optimize our digital products and processes to deliver intuitive, consistent, value-added customer facing digital solutions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, innovative problem-solver, and an expert in digital marketing techniques and technologies. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy and the digital roadmap that aligns with our business objectives, enhances our brand, and drives customer acquisition and retention, while also optimizing our digital products and processes.

     

    The digital customer experience extends the customer-perceived value beyond our products and services enabling new opportunities to gain an advantage over our competitors inspiring customer loyalty, boosting sales and improving growth through exceptional digital experiences.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    • Strategic Leadership: Develop Digital Customer Experience (CX) Strategy: Lead overall Digital CX team to develop comprehensive roadmap including key milestones/KPIs as a key part of the overall Allied Air Digital Ecosystem strategy. Align digital CX initiatives with the company's broader digital strategy and business objectives
    • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of digital professionals specializing in developing digital solutions, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), social media, e-commerce and content creation, as well as a cross-functional team focused on digital products and processes
    • Budget Management: Develop and manage the digital budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies while maximizing ROI (Return on Investment), and collaborate on digital product development and process improvement budgets
    • Content Strategy: Oversee the creation and optimization of digital content, including website content, blog posts, social media content, and email marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with digital products and processes.
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and enhance the online presence, while considering SEO for digital products.
    • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Implement CRO techniques to improve website and landing page conversions, ultimately driving sales and lead generation, also considering CRO for digital products.
    • e-Commerce Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless customer experience, optimizing product listings, and driving sales
    • Email Marketing: Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis to enhance customer engagement, integrating with digital product announcements.
    • Social Media Management: Develop and implement a social media strategy to engage with the target audience, increase followers, and drive customer engagement
    • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data and analytics tools to monitor and report on the performance of digital solutions and marketing initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization, and apply data insights to digital products and processes.
    • Data Analysis: Utilize customer data and analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and pain points, and use this information to make data driven decisions for continuously improving the customer experience
    • Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and customer behavior to adapt the digital marketing strategy and inform digital product development and process improvements.
    • Digital Products and Process Optimization: Map customer’s end-to-end experience and identify pain points along with opportunities for improvement. Work with functional application owners to develop new tools and/or enhance existing tools, building requirements, and supporting testing.
    • Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize digital products and streamline digital processes to enhance customer experience and efficiency
    • Customer Satisfaction: Enhance overall customer satisfaction by delivering consistent, cohesive digital experiences that meet or exceed customer expectations. Develop and implement mechanisms for collecting customer feedback, such as surveys, reviews, and social media monitoring, and use this feedback to drive improvements
    • Digital Accessibility: Ensure that digital assets and platforms are accessible to all customers, including those with disabilities, in compliance with accessibility standards

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, e-Commerce, Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital development, digital strategy or e-commerce, with a proven track record of success
    • Strong understanding of these tools specific to digital customer experience: eCommerce (Hybris, SAP), marketing (SalesForce, Adobe, DotCMS, Sproutloud)
    • Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills
    • Strong understanding of digital technologies and business value, project management methodologies
    • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, digital product development, and digital process improvement best practices
    • Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
    • Preferred knowledge of various reporting tools (Microsoft PowerBI, Qlik, SAP BI, etc.)
    • Preferred knowledge of interface technologies (ALE, BizTalk, MuleSoft, RFC, etc.)
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Results-driven with a focus on achieving KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and ROI
