Job Title: Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing (International Tax) Job Introduction: At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization company specializing in delivering life-changing medicines to patients. We are seeking a Senior Manager, International Tax to join our Tax and Transfer Pricing group. In this role you will be the technical economic expert with respect to transfer pricing matters for the Company. The role is responsible for the delivery of policy and procedure development and manages compliance with those policies through quantitative analytics mixed with transfer pricing law analysis. In addition to Transfer Pricing, this role also works collaboratively with the Controllership team and broader Tax function to support and manage research and development credits in various countries when they are based on segmented economic and functional analysis. Who we are looking for: Detail oriented individuals with proven experience working as a Manager, International Tax or in a similar role. Who are passionate and knowledgeable with the management of the foreign income tax compliance, transfer pricing compliance, tax planning, and tax reporting functions for countries within scope of region of responsibility. That possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills while demonstrating impeccable communication skills. What you’ll do: Manage compliance with global transfer pricing policy and procedures via the following: Develop and maintain inventory of all TP transaction flows and ensure all transaction flows have intercompany contracts in line with local country expectations Create and maintain tools to compute and monitor TP charges for all transaction flows Manage compliance with TP documentation requirements worldwide, including scoping of countries requiring documentation, determining master file/local file approach, and methodically creating approaches to low-cost documentation. Design and development of global monitoring tools in line with BEPS and Pillar I & II rules Assist director with international portions of quarterly and annual tax provision process including making necessary TP adjustments or quantifications and documentation of uncertain tax positions. Support director on tax planning initiatives with quantitative modeling as related to transfer pricing (scenario modeling, cost benefit, etc) Additional details: Deep and proven knowledge of corporate tax law, issues, and rules commensurate with 10 years working in a combination of International Tax / Transfer pricing / R&D credit. Minimum of 10 years of proven and progressive transfer pricing/International tax experience with multinational organizations. A mix of public accounting and corporate experience preferred. Working experience in the area of international tax, transfer pricing and/or R&D credit experience is required. Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as presentation skills are paramount. Highly proficient with excel and mathematical modeling, as well as microeconomic concepts. Ability to perform financial / economic analyses, build financial valuation models and clearly explain and document complex positions. High degree of computer proficiency demonstrated through the mastery of multiple software packages, including financial tools such as Essbase, and the ability to develop logical spreadsheets. Working experience with Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740), FIN48 Uncertain Tax Positions, and Section 404 of Sarbanes Oxley is a plus.
