International Marketing Manager develops and implements strategic international marketing plans for an organization. Stays abreast of changes in assigned marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. Being an International Marketing Manager researches and develops pricing policies and recommends appropriate sales channels. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area. Additionally, International Marketing Manager typically reports to top management. The International Marketing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an International Marketing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Posting SummaryManage the front office (phones, in-person traffic, and general email inquiry) for the Office of International Education; perform administrative support to support functions for the Office of International Education (OIE). Supervise a team of student workers, and collaborate with OIE leadership team to support the broader work of the office through administrative processing of content-area matters as well as high-level administrative support for departmental contracts, supplies, space, technology, and other needs.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Associates Degree and two- three years of experience providing support within a business or academic environment required OR Bachelor’s Degree with some office environment experience. Attention to detail and organization and the ability to multi-task are essential. Working knowledge of software applications used to support office functions and familiarity with Internet resources required.
