    Job Summary:

    The HR Consultant relies heavily on client communication and feedback throughout the client/consultant relationship. The responsibility of this position is to serve as a link between client management and client employees by handling questions and interpreting problems to help find resolutions for work-related issues. The HR Consultant implements human resources policies and activities such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, labor relations, and communications for the client. This position is comparable to an HR Generalist role with similar duties from an internal and external HR perspective. The HR Consultant reports directly to the Principal HR Consultant of Full Circle Human Resources.

    Primary Duties:

    · Collaborates with the HR team in all areas following Full Circle HR’s mission and values.

    · Partner and ensure the organization structure supports the strategic objectives of the business.

    · Assists with coaching and mentoring client managers.

    · Oversees, builds, and coordinates training efforts for clients.

    · Mitigates client risk by identifying opportunities with the succession planning program.

    · Engages all client-employee relationship initiatives including disciplinary action, PIPs, stay interviews, employee growth, development, promotions, transfers, demotions, and exit interviews.

    · Maintains current and accurate job descriptions for clients.

    · Works to resolve all significant employment/personnel issues for clients.

    · Plan Administrator of client retirement plans.

    · Responsible for backing up payroll using client-specific systems. Must ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

    · Initiates and follows through on accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

    · Responsible for overseeing the preparation and maintenance of accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.

    · Assists with overseeing compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.

    · Part of a team responsible for overseeing and conducting all phases of the recruitment process for the clients. This includes creating and following a recruitment strategy for specific client needs.

    · Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with clients’ managers.

    · Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and client company policies.

    · Oversees the performance management program (90-day reviews and annual reviews).

    · Works with client owners and managers to resolve personnel issues.

    · Part of a team responsible for all terminations.

    · Oversees the administration of all benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, etc. This includes FMLA administration, short-term disability administration, and COBRA-related transactions.

    · Responsible for all Worker's Compensation management including the WC Audit, 1st Report of Injury, light duty restriction management, and mod rate management.

    · Responsible for safety program creation, support, and training.

    · Ensures client local, state, and federal reporting is complete with accuracy:

    · Complete OSHA logs are completed and filed,

    · VOE’s are completed,

    · 1095 and 1094 reporting are completed,

    · And other mandatory filings are completed.

    · Assists the Principal HR Consultant in all FCHR operations.

    · Be available outside of “normal business hours” to assist with client projects and emergency needs in place of the Principal HR Consultant.

    · Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

    · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe, Google Suite, and Canva.

    · Experience with ADP, Gusto, Paychex, UKG, QuickBooks, and more.

    Education:

    · Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.

    Certifications:

    · SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or HRCI-SPHR or HRCI-PHR certification, preferred.

    Experience:

    · 3-5 years of HR generalist experience preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    · Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
