Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Conduct accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions
- Manage the purchasing functions and negotiate with vendors for pricing
- Conduct the bi-weekly payroll function
- Track and pay sales rep commission payments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial management principles
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities
