What We're Looking For:

• Previous accounting or finance roles, including as a Controller or Director of Accounting.
• Strong focus on accuracy and precision in financial tasks.
• Thorough understanding of General Ledger accounts.
• Experience in job cost accounting is advantageous.
• A desire for continual improvement and advancement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong technological skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the CFO and overseeing various financial operations, including:

• Perform accounting duties, including bookkeeping, cash-flow management, and financial reporting.
• Supervise payroll operations.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable functions.
• Closing the books and preparing month-end financials.
• Oversee tax reporting and ensure compliance.
• Depending on expertise and growth, responsibilities may expand to budget preparation, forecasting, complex financial projections, maximizing cash flow, reviewing financial statements, policy establishment for management reports, understanding finance and business operations synergy, capital structure management, tax planning, and strategy development.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields is preferred.
• Prior experience in similar financial roles is valued.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and General Ledger functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
