Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain after an injury or illness. You will play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life and helping them achieve their physical goals.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques
- Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy techniques
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Familiarity with trigger point therapy is beneficial
