Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic evaluations and procedures related to cardiac catheterization. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the care of patients undergoing cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-procedure assessments, including reviewing medical history and obtaining vital signs
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Monitor patients during procedures, assessing vital signs and responding to any changes or complications
- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient education regarding procedures, post-procedure care, and medication management
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Adhere to aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology in daily practice

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state]
- Minimum [X] years of experience working as an RN in a hospital setting
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or critical care unit preferred
- Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Proficiency in using sonography equipment for imaging purposes

- Excellent assessment skills, including the ability to interpret vital signs accurately
