We are a small (but mighty!) interior design firm that specializes in high end residential furnishings, whole home remodels, and new construction projects. We provide our clients with a luxury design experience and they love us for it! We are their trusted design partner that delivers spaces that usually brings them to tears. Qualifications
- 4 years experience with a residential interior design firm focused on high end projects, including remodeling, custom home builds, and furnishings
- Proficient in producing computer drawings, including floor plans, interior elevations, and electrical plans.
- Must have a detailed understanding of construction documentation and local building codes
- 4 years experience designing kitchens and bathrooms. NKBA certification a plus
- Experience specifying and measuring for window treatments
- Must have portfolio of previous work
- Must be able to own a client project from start to finish with little oversight
- Must be present in Austin, TX office 1-2 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Determine customer needs and style through conversations and images.
- Measure and produce as-built computer drawings.
- Interpret and translate customer needs into plans, including furniture space planning, floor plans, demo plans, electrical plans and interior elevations.
- Research and decide on materials. Obtain and review quotes for pricing and accuracy.
- Source furniture, art and accessories, as well as obtain pricing for those products
- Enter selected products and selections into Studio Designer and DesignSpec.
- Produce mood boards.
- Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices
- Compiling 'care for' instructions for the products we have selected.
- Ability to articulate why certain products were chosen for a project.
- Create detailed drawings for custom products, to be provided by our vendors.
- Come up with recommended budgets for projects.
- Serving our clients and making sure they have an exceptional experience with us.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, builders and trades.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
