    Description:
    We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Commercial Interior Designer to join our team. As a key member of the project design team, you will be responsible for overseeing the interior design and coordination of projects from conception through site installation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for interior design, an in-depth knowledge of the construction process, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with FFE procurement, life cycle cost analysis, and multifamily development preferred.

    Responsibilities:
    ? Collaborate with the project architect and creative brand team to establish the
    overall design direction and execute brand interpretation.
    ? Conceptualize designs and program spaces with partners, owners, and
    architects.
    ? Develop creative and innovative interior design concepts for various commercial
    spaces, including offices, community rooms, fitness rooms, and more.
    ? Assist in the creation of design presentations, mood boards, and material
    boards to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to the team.
    ? Prepare detailed design documentation, including construction drawings,
    specifications, and schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant
    codes and regulations.
    ? Source materials, products, and all color finishes included in the plan, and assist
    in the procurement of furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
    ? Set budgets for interior design scope and adhere to deadlines of key
    deliverables.
    ? Review RFIs and submittals for the project as required, ensuring compliance
    with design intent and specifications.
    ? Participate in project coordination and management tasks, including site visits
    for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) installs, attending team meetings,
    and maintaining project documentation.
    ? Provide support in managing project schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely
    completion of deliverables.
    ? Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to obtain quotes, samples,
    and other project-related information, and assist in the procurement of furniture,
    fixtures, and finishes.
    ? Conduct research and gather information on industry trends, materials, and
    products to stay up to date with the latest design innovations and best practices.
    ? Facilitate internal and external project communications, participating in team
    meetings and offering creative input to contribute to the overall success of the
    projects.
    ? Manage time effectively to handle multiple projects at once in all phases of
    design and construction, ensuring adherence to project costs, budgets, and
    schedules.
    ? Maintain electronic project data and files, and coordinate replacement items for
    projects in collaboration with the asset manager.

    Required Experience:
    ? Bachelor?s degree in interior architecture, interior design, or equivalent in
    education or experience.
    ? 5 years of professional experience in commercial interior design.
    ? NCIDQ certification preferred.
    ? Strong proficiency in design software, particularly Revit.
    ? Excellent understanding of space planning, furniture, finishes, lighting, and
    material selections for commercial interiors.
    ? Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to
    commercial interior design. Familiarity with affordable housing, accessibility
    compliance, and the multifamily market preferred.
    ? Strong conceptual and visual presentation skills, with the ability to effectively
    communicate design ideas.
    ? Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards throughout the
    design process.
    ? Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize
    tasks and meet deadlines.
    ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely
    with clients, contractors, and vendors.
    ? Willingness to learn and adapt to new design trends, software, and
    technologies.
