Interior Designer - Custom Home Building - Sanibel, FL - $50,000 - $70, 000

Responsibilities:

• Lead client meetings at showrooms and jobsites, offering expertise to guide selections.
• Collaborate closely with clients to translate their vision into meticulously designed homes reflecting individual style.
• Produce precise AutoCAD drawings, including cabinetry and tile layouts.
• Present design boards for cohesive selections and client decision-making.
• Input selections and drawings into construction software for client approval, maintaining transparency.
• Contribute innovative ideas to conceptual design and architectural redlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Software experience:

• AutoCAD & 2020 Design Live

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an interior designer ideally in Custom Home Building
• Thorough attention to detail
• The ability to accept and give constructive criticism
• Knowledge of furniture systems and finishes
• The ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
• Understanding of and familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD
• The ability to work within budget constraints
• Demonstrable understanding of the basic principles of spatial planning
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to find a new way of doing things

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
