Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. To be an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Summary: Assemble, test, calibrate various components and sub-assemblies, and operate multiple assembly and test equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school graduate, ability to read engineering drawings. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Experience: Two or more years related to aerospace electro-mechanical assembly experience required. Ability to understand engineering drawings and operate test equipment required.
