    Key Responsibilities:

    • With the creative team, create and develop the interior design process from end to end.
    • Assist in setting up organizational infrastructure
    • Establish a streamlined and efficient interior design process that encompasses concept development, client collaboration, space planning, material selection, and project implementation.
    • Define clear project milestones and deliverables to ensure a smooth workflow from initial consultation to project completion.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve the design process based on feedback, industry trends, and project outcomes.
    • Coordinate and communicate effectively with the creative team, contractors, architects, and other professional involved in the interior design process.
    • Maintain vendor and client database.
    • Create detailed sketches, drawings, and CAD plans to visualize design concepts.
    • Assist in sourcing art, antiques, furniture, decor, fixtures, and finishes.
    • Create and manage proposals, budgets, and inventory.
    • Interact with vendors to schedule delivery times and coordinate shipping and logistics
    • Maintain fabric and sample library.
    • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with interior design trends, materials, and finishes.
    • Assist in creative development and branding.
    • Assist with marketing and social media management, including content creation and posting.
    • Maintain an active presence on social media platforms relevant to the interior design industry.
    • Assist with permit applications.
    • Complete additional tasks as needed to support the creative team.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to travel locally or out of state.
    • Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items, up to 30 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
    • Ability to go up and down stairs and maneuver effectively around job sites, warehouse, and office.
    • Position may entail prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.

    Qualifications:

    • College degree required.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
    • A strong artistic eye and love for design.
    • Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills.
    • Exemplary planning, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Ability to multitask, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines on multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development without losing attention to detail.
    • High-degree of self-motivation and resourcefulness, and able to work with minimal guidance or supervision but also open to constructive criticism and following directions.
    • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
    • Demonstrates an adaptable, collaborative, and positive attitude.
    • Excellent written, graphic, and oral communication skills.
    • Displays high degree of professionalism in order to maintain confidential information with discretion, deal with people tactfully, and help establish strong relationships and positive communication.
    • Technologically savvy, with the aptitude to learn new software.
    • Strong internet research skills and the ability to compile, digest, and summarize information in an organized, cogent, and aesthetically pleasing manner.
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and a regular user of social media.
    • Experience in residential interior design, art, or other creative fields is strongly preferred.
    • Proficiency in drawing and sketching is strongly preferred.
    • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Studio Designer, or Adobe Creative Suite is strongly preferred.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is a must.
    • Photography experience is a plus.
    • Interior design certification or architecture license is a plus.
    • Social media management experience is a plus.
    • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
    • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends (e.g. for vendor meetings, photography/video shoots, open houses) required.

    This full-time position includes paid time off (holidays, sick, and accrued vacation days) and the ability to participate in a 401(k) plan with employer matching. Discretionary bonuses are also awarded. Salary commensurate with skills and experience. Hired candidates must submit to a criminal background and DMV check and provide a valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle registration, and authorization to work in the U.S.
