Seeking a full time Design Assistant for an Interior Design firm, located in Old Port, Portland. This position is relatively flexible with an opportunity for growth, given the right candidate.
This is a unique opportunity to join a well known, established Interior Design firm. The ideal candidate would be someone who has a positive attitude, great design aesthetic, organized, motivated and works well independently.
Job Responsibilities:
- To work on projects from all phases of design through installation, including:
concept development; sourcing products; presentation preparation; create client budgets, estimates and invoices; ordering, logistics and installations
- Provide design and administrative support through the execution of design projects
- Project management and the ability to organize & manage multiple projects at once
- Vendor liaison
- Assist in all marketing efforts
Experience:
- Bachelors Degree/ experience in Interior Design
- Mac computer knowledge
- Marketing/ social media platforms
- Adobe Creative Suite (a plus, but not necessary)
- Compensation & benefits dependent on experience
