Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager manages the interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to interior assembly team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager requires a bachelor's degree. This individual is responsible for performing set ups on a variety of assembly department equipment for operators within the department. This person must be proficient in diagnosing/troubleshooting and making corrections/adjustments/repairs to a wide variety of mechanical and hydraulic equipment. Must be familiar with multiple types of presses and assembly sequences as well as the ability to use various gaging/measuring devices to assure product conforms to required specifications. Must be able to effectively and efficiently train new employees in the area. Will participate in and implement continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste and streamline processes to increase productivity and quality. Must maintain work area in a clean, orderly fashion and perform other job duties as assigned by the Lead B or Supervisor. Attendance at work is an essential function of the position. Manual dexterity and ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for the entire shift.
Full time position Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm. Available to work overtime as needed.
