Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, sales, and customer relationship management. Experience with Appfolio is highly desirable. The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of our properties while maintaining positive tenant relations.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals with tenants
- Oversee the work of maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
- Handle tenant complaints and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of property income, expenses, and tenant information using property management software (OneSite)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with legal administrative staff on eviction proceedings when necessary
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices
- Excellent sales and customer relationship management skills
- Familiarity with Section 8 regulations is preferred
- Proficiency in using property management software Appfolio or similar
- Ability to effectively negotiate lease agreements and resolve conflicts
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
