    Minimum Qualifications

    Level I: Four years of experience in technical clerical work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Level II: Four years of experience in technical clerical work or an equivalent combination of education, plus one year of experience in the acceptance, review, and processing of legal documents.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Scheduling and establishing administrative hearings for the Administrative Law Judges (ALJs).  
    • Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting administrative court materials and organizing and maintaining exhibits and other records of court cases.  
    • Maintains hearing dockets and court calendars.  
    • Also fulfills secretarial responsibilities by initiating memos, letters, and other correspondence for ALJ's approval.  
    • Reads, sorts, and distributes incoming mail; handles routine correspondence without direction from the ALJ.
    • Screens and receives telephone calls and visitors.
