    Job Summary:

    The Processing, Guidance and Controls (PG&C) Center within the Systems Engineering Directorate consists of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC), Signal Processing (SP), and Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MSA) disciplines for Effectors.

    The PG&C Center is currently hiring a for Cross Product Team Lead, Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) position in Tucson, AZ. This position will support a major Air Dominance missile program as the Cross Product Team Lead over Signal Processing / GNC / Performance Simulation / Systems Engineering / Integration & Test.

    The CPT structure will be influenced by the CPTL in collaboration with the Program Management Office, the Program Chief Engineer Office, PG&C stakeholders for execution aligned with program technical, cost, and schedule plans.

    This position is an onsite role.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:
    • You will help lead a cross-discipline team of 20 engineers executing algorithm design, simulation, performance, and integration and test tasks to ensure delivery of the missile system per program plan.
    • You will ensure all SP, GNC, MSA, Systems Engineering, and Integration and Test scope is performed with a cohesive technical approach compliant to our extensive execution practices and provide guidance to these sub-teams to ensure program alignment and teamwork.
    • You will report technical and earned value metrics to program and functional leadership.
    • You will manage the development of algorithms, simulations, systems engineering, and test products to deliver a production ready design within a challenging schedule.
    • You will provide direction for CPT collaboration with functional partners from Engineering, Operations, Mission Assurance, Digital Technologies, and Global Supply Chain.
    • You will support fielding activities to include FQT preparation and execution; functional and performance requirement verification; Technical Data Package TDP completion; V&V integration, dry runs, and post-FCA V&V demo; FCA and factory prove-in; live fire planning; pre- and post- flight execution and analysis; and simulation validation.
    • The selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain special access program clearance.



    Basic Qualifications:
    • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience in Signal Processing, GNC, and/or Modeling and Simulation experience.
    • Experience with C and/or C.
    • Experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
    • Experience with signal processing algorithm development and analysis.
    • Experience integrating signal processing algorithms in real-time, embedded software systems.
    • Experience running, modifying, and/or evaluating simulations.
    • Experience with fielding, FQT, and V&V.
    • Experience managing or leading others in a technical and/or functional capacity within an engineering environment.
    • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.



    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, or Math.
    • Experience with missile components and systems.
    • Experience using UNIX/Linux-based workstations.
    • Experience with implementing agile processes.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and customers regarding matters of significant importance.
    • Ability to influence others to agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
    • Ability to manage multiple critical priorities.

    • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

    • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

    • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

    The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
