Job description
Seeking a Construction Services role to assist the technical staff in maintaining client relationships, overseeing the field work and construction phases of our projects, meeting project deadlines, developing staff, procurement, and ensuring high quality, timely work within budget. We provide technical support to a wide variety of engineering projects, which range from day-to-day municipal and industrial engineering in all areas related to plant operation and safety.
Responsibilities:
· Review deliverables and coordinate timely delivery to the client
· Set timelines and tasks to the Project Team for assigned projects
· Communicate bid specifications and change orders to the Project Team
· Track all proposed change orders to the original project including pricing and billing
· Monitor the consumption of labor hours on each project phase to ensure timely completion and budgetary compliance
· Set billing forecasts for all assigned projects
· Provide costing and/or operation input for project proposals
· Perform any other duty or task as requested by the Project Resource Manager
Education and experience:
· Bachelor’s degree
· 3-5 years of project management experience
· Electrical, industrial, controls, or construction management experience
· Experience with MS Project or other PM software
· Prior experience in a design/engineering Construction Services role
