Responsibilities
- Effectively organize county organizations in order to execute Farmers Federation policy and to coordinate all activities between the State & County organizations.
- Organize and maintain functional commodities, Young Farmers, and Women’s Ag committees.
- Assist in the political education and action of each county unit in recruiting, electing, and lobbying public officials; and to coordinate, maintain, and supply the Alfa Health and Alfa Dental Divisions of Alfa Services. Inc.
- Direct, develop, and organize county Federation activities.
- Meet with local legislative delegation, assist in election to defeat or receive favorable vote on policy positions or representation to improve farmers net income.
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree in Agricultural or Ag-Related degree required.
- Agricultural background is preferred.
- Three years of experience required.
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
