Insurance and Risk Management Director directs the development and optimization of an organization's overall insurance program to manage and minimize risk and costs. Defines strategic objectives and policies to ensure effective insurance coverage for the organization and to develop risk financing budgeting. Being an Insurance and Risk Management Director implements processes that identify risk exposure and classify, measure, and manage insurable risks. Develops the appropriate mix of insurance coverage for the organization and negotiate policy pricing and terms with vendors. Additionally, Insurance and Risk Management Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Insurance and Risk Management Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Insurance and Risk Management Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     13 About the Role: The Director, Forward Curve & Risk Products is a senior role within the Global Trading Solutions Team.

    The Team:
    The forward curve and risk product group sits within the Global Trading Solutions team. The forward curve team is led by the Director, Forward Curves and Risk Products who manages a team of 3 quantitative analysts.

    The role sits as part of the highly collaborative 5 person GTS leadership team that leads a high value portfolio covering exchange licensing, eWindow and forward curves.

    Responsibilities and Impact:
    • Responsible for the overall performance of GTS forward curve & risk product business globally
    • Development and production of a growing suite of forward curve products including identification of new forward curve and risk product opportunities
    • Maintaining close relationships with commercial team to build and grow associated revenues
    • Managing engagement, relationships and formal agreements with key stakeholders including Ice and other exchanges
    • Integral part of overall GTS leadership team, contributing to overall team performance
    • Leading a team of skilled forward curve quants
